- 01Becoming Me has grown into a vibrant, supportive healing community — and with that growth comes the need for clarity, accessibility, and ease. To make things simpler for everyone, we’ve brought all essential information into one central place. This includes our Frequently Asked Questions, and community policies lookup. Becoming Me was created from a deeply personal journey of surviving abuse, rebuilding identity, and learning to feel safe again. The name Becoming Me carries meaning because it represents the ongoing process of healing — not just for one person, but for anyone who has walked through pain and is trying to find themselves again. You are not alone in your experiences, and this community exists because so many of us share similar paths. Our volunteer staff plays a vital role in keeping this space safe, welcoming, and supportive. From time to time, we open new volunteer positions. These roles are always volunteer‑only, and because interest is often higher than the number of openings, we offer a waitlist so you can be notified first when a role becomes available. Thank you for being here, for supporting the mission, and for helping us continue to grow in a way that honors safety, compassion, and community.

- 07Becoming Me Alignment Triangle Core idea:The triangle represents the three pillars a person needs to feel aligned, safe, and growing inside the Becoming Me community. Each point supports the others — when all three are balanced, a person is in alignment. The Three Points of the Alignment Triangle1. Self‑Awareness (Mind)- Understanding your emotions, patterns, and needs- Recognizing trauma responses without shame- Naming what you feel and why it matters- Beginning to see your own story with clarity instead of confusion- Symbol: soft light, reflection, gentle clarity2. Safety & Support (Heart)- Feeling emotionally safe in community- Knowing you are not alone in your healing- Having people who validate, listen, and hold space- Building trust slowly and at your own pace- Symbol: open hands, warm glow, connection3. Personal Growth (Becoming)- Reclaiming identity after trauma- Learning healthier patterns- Building confidence and self‑trust- Stepping into the version of yourself you are becoming- Symbol: upward movement, soft rising light, bloomingHow the Triangle Works TogetherWhen all three points align:- You feel grounded- You feel supported- You feel capable of becoming yourself againIf one point is weak:The triangle tilts- You feel off‑balance- Healing becomes harderThis is why Becoming Me exists — to help people strengthen all three sides at their own pace.
