I move through the world like a gentle storm soft, intuitive, and stitched together with moonlight, memory, and the resilience of someone who has survived her own darkness. I feel everything deeply, and I’ve learned to treat that sensitivity as a kind of magic. I live with depression and anxiety, and I’ve walked through moments where the weight of it all nearly pulled me under. Surviving those chapters didn’t make me weaker — they carved me into someone who understands the quiet battles people carry.
Through Becoming Me and the communities I tend, I create spaces where people can breathe, unfold, and return to themselves without apology. My own healing journey shapes the way I hold space: gently, honestly, and without judgment. I know what it’s like to feel lost, overwhelmed, or unseen — and I know how powerful it is when someone finally feels safe enough to be real.
I’m expressive, warm, and a little witchy in the way I read emotional currents. I lead with compassion and clarity, but I’m not afraid to sprinkle in a bit of sass when the moment calls for it. My work is rooted in connection, transformation, and the belief that honesty — even the soft kind — can be a spell all its own.
I’m here to hold space, to guide gently, to listen deeply, and to help people remember who they are beneath the noise. My magic is subtle but steady, woven through every conversation, every community moment, every quiet act of care.

My name is Teresa. I’m 53 years old, and my life has been shaped by resilience, compassion, and a deep desire to help others. I’m a friendly, kind, and respectful person, and I try to bring those qualities into every interaction I have.
I live with bipolar disorder, PTSD, depression, and anxiety. I’m actively working on my recovery every day, and I’m proud of the progress I’ve made. I’m a survivor of domestic violence and past suicidality, and I continue to overcome my disabilities one day at a time. My journey hasn’t been easy, but it has made me stronger, more understanding, and more determined to keep moving forward.
I’ve received help and support during some of the hardest moments of my life, and now I want to give that same support back to others who are struggling. I know what it feels like to suffer, to feel lost, and to fight your way back. I also know that healing is possible, and that no one deserves to face their battles alone.
My hope is that by sharing my story, I can offer encouragement, understanding, and a reminder that recovery is real. I’m still growing, still healing, and still choosing to show up every day — and I want others to know they can too.

I am excited to join Becoming Me as a Community Moderator. Having experienced my own mental health challenges, I understand the significant impact of kindness, empathy, and encouragement. I look forward to connecting with members of our community, offering a supportive ear, and helping individuals feel less isolated and more hopeful.
